The studio is compact (which is great because it stays warm), but contains everything you need to create pots in all the various ways. I am always expanding the range of tools and materials often in response to students requests and own original ideas. We are limited to 6 people in the studio which means everyone gets plenty of time for practice and guidance.

Schedules vary with the type of course, but tea and coffee are always available as part of the package.
In the formal 2hr weekly course, each week Mark will demonstrate techniques associated with the weeks theme. This lasts about 1/2 hour, students then get to try the techniques themselves for the remaining time with guidance from Mark.
In ‘one off’ courses a range of techniques are demonstrated. The students are then free to try the techniques themselves.
In drop in sessions no formal tuition is provided, but potters are on hand to provide advice if required. These sessions are limited to people who have already attended a course.
